    Here are lists of countries to target on Facebook for Facebook Adverts


    Many have been seeking way to identify those low CPC countries when creating facebook adverts. Below are lists of countries and their classifications.

    To reduce the guesswork involved in buying ads abroad, try targeting your Facebook ads to multiple countries. Our system will deliver ads to the countries with the best Cost Per Action, giving you useful insights into which ads work where.

    Here’s how:

      1. During ad set creation for most objectives, where it says Type to add more locations, you can target worldwide (type in Worldwide), by country group (ex: type in Asia), by free trade area (ex: type in GCC, the Gulf Cooperation Council), by sub-regions within a country (ex: type in Michigan) or by other features (ex: type in iTunes app store countries or Emerging markets).

        Browse opens a drop down menu of regions and countries.

        If you are selling in Europe, you can target geographically (type in Europe for all the countries in Europe) or by free trade area (ex: type in EEA, the European Economic Area). Or you might type in Euro area, to target countries where the Euro is the common currency.

    1. We show your ads to people in the given locations and monitor performance.
    2. If your ads are doing better in certain locations, we’ll start spending more of your budget delivering ads there. You can view your results broken down by location in Ads Manager.


    • We recommend using a single language for all the ads in an ad set targeted globally. This can include creating multiple ad sets targeted to different country groups, each with a different language for its ads.
    • You can still manually exclude locations that would otherwise fall into the country group you’re targeting. For example, you can target Oceania but exclude New Zealand.
    • Remember that your ads must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the locations they’re targeted to (in particular when advertising for more sensitive categories like alcohol and real-money gambling), and our Advertising Policies.

    If you already know which country/countries you’d like to target, try creating an international lookalike audience. This lets you use a list of current customers or prospects to find similar people abroad.
